Yes, children can enter the song contest! We love getting songs from children. We don’t include them in the final contest because the grand final is held in the evening and might not always be suitable for children. We publish an online kids’ final on YouTube to announce the junior winner and we welcome video contributions from the junior entrants to accompany their songs.
Song submissions from under 16s will be entered into the Junior Contest. So if that’s you, then please let us know your age when you submit your song, otherwise we might think you’re a grown-up!
We’ve had some brilliant videos from children in the past which we’ve shared with you. We’ve decided not to leave those videos permanently live on our YouTube channel to respect the privacy of those children.
The same goes for anyone who has contributed songs or video content to us – if you don’t want it live anymore, just tell us and we’ll take it down straight away!
